You could open a fee free bank account with Citibank or ING Direct for your survey earnings, or you can also get a prepaid load and go card from Australia Post, but their are fees for using the load and go card.

Its good to be careful on who you give your bank details to, but for some survey sites that maybe the only way you can get paid, any genuine survey site would only ask for bank details when you have enough points to redeem, if you are asked bank details when you sign up i would think it is likely to be a scam and never ever give credit card details to any survey site!

I did what you suggested and opened a fee free bank account which will be a dedicated account for Octopus Group. So, if anything untoward happens and I’m not saying it will my main bank account isn’t accessible. Will see how it all pans out, should be very interesting. Really can’t see how they can pay so much more than other sites.
